Youth Advocacy & Prevention Program
DOVE’s Youth Advocacy & Prevention (YAP) Program has been working with schools and youth programs across Colorado since its inception in 2008. Relationship abuse rates among teens are growing nationwide, and it’s time to talk about healthy relationships with our Deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH) youth.
We offer free interactive workshops for middle and high school age youth, as well as training for adults who work with this age group. Additionally, we provide direct advocacy, support, and referrals to D/HH youth who may be experiencing or witnessing relationship abuse, bullying, domestic violence, and/or sexual assault.
If you’re interested in having DOVE come to your school or youth program, please review our YAP Information & Agreement Form here. The packet includes a YAP Workshop Request Form at the end that you can fill out and return to DOVE. For general questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
